Mediterranean Forum on water resources

The University of Basilicata, Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (ARPA – Basilicata) and Regione Basilicata organise the Mediterranean Forum on Water Resources (MFWR), 18-22 October 2015, in Matera, Italy (http://mfwrmatera.eu)

The Forum will be covering 4 days, each day will be focused on a specific theme. The session themes will be the following:

Water: Climate Change, Availability and Quality
Water: Archeology, History, Anthropology
Water: Business Framewok
Water: Territorial policies

Plenary sessions will be held during the morning, whilst the afternoon will see parallel sessions where main actors will be research, control bodies and administrations. Various International Institutions are going to be involved During the conference, in the city of Matera spaces will be available for photographic, video, music facilities on the theme of water, that may be proposed by the different regions participating in the initiative AQUA2015.


The registration fee is €100 (euro) by 30 September 2015, €150 (euro) by 17 October 2015 and €200 (euro) on-site covering access to all sessions, coffee breaks and conference material. For details concerning the social program, please click at http://www.mfwrmatera.eu/social-programme/ .
